Reverse Osmosis & Chrlorination

reverse-osmosis-chrlorination

  • Reverse Osmosis is the finest level of “filtration” available today. It will remove ions (dissolved salts from water).
  • In Advanced Water production from POME, it is required for complete disinfection of the water prior to reuse, as well as the reduction of Sodium, Potassium, Hardness, Sulphate, Iron to levels suitable for potable water.
  • Reverse Osmosis systems provide a log 4 to 6 reduction in microbiological contaminants, such as E. coli, Pseudomonas, Cryptosporidium and others.
  • The RO “permeate” will be suitably polished to the point where it can be returned to the factory, however to prevent organism growth in pipes downstream of the RO, chlorination is required.
  • We have allowed for a chlorine dosing and monitoring system within this proposal
